Thoughtful Davids

Today is David Bowie's birth date. David!
Dave Dave Dave!!

Anyway.
I thought I'd paint the thin white duke 1976 David, who always looks quite cocky in the photos of the live shows - strutting n posing n holdin' skulls and that. Maybe it was the jaunty waistcoat. Maybe it was the red peppers.
But in this, he doesn't look like that at all, he looks quite sad. He's smoking a cigarette, yeah, but he's a little lost.  Perhaps he is just thoughtful because some Kaballah type stuff is getting on his nerves and he needs a proper sandwich or something to keep him going.

Please order using the PayPal button below. This is painted in acrylics on canvas board, 20 x 20 cm. Only one available.

SORRY THIS HAS NOW SOLD

I also found some other pics, the last one left in all these cases....
Here's Low... the square one. David looks out while firey sort of stuff happens around him. He's probably thinking about the Kaballah here too or some squiggly lines that lead to some sort of enlightenment or maybe a William Burroughs joke.

And Diamond Dogs.... he's quite perky in this one, is David. He is a chirpy half man/half wolfy beast thing here and he likes it.

Painted in acrylics on canvas board, 20 x 20 cm. Only one left.

And then Ziggy, standing outside what is now an architect's office n sort of restaurant below. Restaurants! Indeed.
